The 4th Annual Patrick Queen Football Camp

On June 21, 2024, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen hosted the 4th annual “Level Up” Football Camp, unleashing future football stars. The camp was held at NRG Field in New Roads, Louisiana. The picturesque setting of Old Mill provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with football drills, training sessions, and inspirational talks. The camp gave aspiring football players an unparalleled opportunity to enhance their skills and gain valuable insights from a professional athlete.

Patrick credits his father with shaping him into the player he is today, so it was no surprise that his dad, DeWayne, spearheaded the football camp. During lunch, Raising Cane’s treated the campers to a tasty meal, and Kona Ice. provided snow cones to help them cool off. DJ Mack100 entertained everyone with the latest music. The day ended with many laughs, dancing, and pure fun. The camp succeeded because of the hard work of volunteers, family members, and friends. A huge shout-out goes to the community and everyone who volunteered their time to ensure the event ran smoothly. Patrick’s mom, Mary Sue, his sister, Tia, and other family and friends should get the biggest praise. Their efforts allowed the campers to focus on having fun and learning. It was wonderful to see the community come together to support such a great event.
